Coming from a wide range of music experiences, singing pianist and songwriter Christine Teuber chose to write piano-based popsongs from the heart. The classically trained pianist and multi-instrumentalist combines catchy melodies with honest, sometimes pensive-poignant lyrics. Each song has a different touch, including elements of folk, soul, blues or jazz music.
The singer-songwriter could blow you away with her mesmerizing vocals on haunting ballads. In 2016 she released her first EP organic ballads with six beautiful tracks of fine songwriting, recorded as a duo with piano/vocals and violin. Currently located in Frankfurt Rhein-Main, Germany, you can find Christine on stage as a solo artist as well as performing as a duo (+ violin) or band, consisting of professional, passionate musicians on guitar, drums and double bass. Their live arrangements vary from dreamy ballads to groovy acoustic style.

I grew up in a small town laying between Frankfurt/Main and the beautiful Taunus Mountains in Germany. I began to play and compose music at an early age, starting with recorders, guitar and finally taking piano lessons, which I always wanted to. Somehow, I feel like I was born with a musical heart. It saved me through scary times in middle school and gave me a voice when I couldn’t speak. As a classically trained pianist, “reborn” singer and multi-instrumentalist, I got enrolled in a wide range of music studies at Goethe-University and Musikhochschule Frankfurt (HfMDK), now holding a degree in music education, musicology and special-needs education. Besides working on my music, I am teaching piano, recorders, elementary music courses and choir. I also perform for weddings, funerals and other occasions.
Since I would consider myself a very open-minded person, I’ve been exploring a lot of different musical styles through the years, starting from classical music (Bach, Mozart, Chopin, etc.), contemporary pop music, through jazz improvisation, playing in a world music combo, then leaning more into blues and American folk music.
Working with other artists is also something I really enjoy. For some years I mostly played as a duo (piano/vocals + violin) on several smaller stages in Frankfurt. This led to the release of my first EP organic ballads in 2016. Since I met some other really good musicians, there is also a band now: piano/vocals, guitar, double bass and drums. I truly love it. We are looking forward to play more shows together. Hope to see you!
